Coblentz Corner

The proposed Coblentz Corner is a four-story multi-use building at 100 West Front Street in Berwick being developed by Community Strategies Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1999. The building is located at the intersection of SR-93 and SR-11 in the Borough of Berwick just one block from the Susquehanna River – a major gateway to Columbia County. Coblentz Corner is located at the heart of the new Berwick Arts District, a project recently funded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts which will extend two blocks in either direction of the building along Front Street.

The site currently has a blighted building that will be demolished. Construction of the new building is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The new 21,326 square foot building will have a new space for the Teen Center on the lower level; potential uses for the remaining floors include a commercial kitchen, cafe, makerspace, community arts center, commercial office space, and/or a contemporary casual restaurant.
